Bernard Dejonghe has had many museum exhibitions during his career. Perhaps one of the most exciting took place at the Musée de Bibracte (Museum of the Celtic Civilisation) in Burgundy, France in 2011. The installation of his glasswork was particularly stunning and expansive. A short video of the installation can be viewed here.
(English translation: 'Listen to the world,' a phrase borrowed from writer Kenneth White, is applicable to Bernard Dejonghe's installation in Bibracte. The artist reveals for the first time, through the confrontation of his work with objects that he collected in the Sahara, his way of understanding the world.)
